Critter Concept

Concept art/design for character. This project required a design for a small docile critter that could fly and had characteristics of a small bird and a mouse, plus the behavior of a house cat. Using a griffin as a base for the sketching, the songbird and cat features were melded together for the body while the mouse part was used as inspiration for the ears. This design was about creating an alien species that could be cast as a small house pet in a storyline with an alternate reality that has flora and fauna that are foreign from species in real life.
